Bacon Jerky!!

    I have found the Holy Grail.

    For the last few months, the wife has talked about how she needed to lose weight (she's 6' and 155lbs, but whatever, it's a woman thing). After all the "you don't need to" comments, I finally told her I can normally lose 15-20# with a low carb diet and I would do it with her to make it easier for planning meals, if she decided to.

    Of course she got discouraged and stopped after 1 week. (even though she lost 5 lbs, she can't do without bread). I decided to keep going since I do need to lose 20 or so.

    Yesterday while at the convenience store, I spotted it............ BACON JERKY, made by Slim Jim. :getsmiley:

    I found out others make it too. It's not really a jerky though. It taste like bacon I have put on the smoker for breakfast, while cooking butts. Now, I may have to sell a kidney to stay supplied it this miracle of bag treats, but it is a gift for all men, especially those watching their carb intake.
