Doggone Freezing Rain

    I was going to meet some old angler buddies today for a fingerling sandwich and jalapeno popper lunch at the local fish shack. We were going to sit around the potbelly stove and tell fish lies. Doggone freezing rain killed that idea. By the way, a "fingerling" sandwich is made from the broken off pieces of catfish or walleye left in the cooking basket. The shack puts it to the side and sells it on a sandwich. A really big sandwich. It is so big and tastes so good I'm surprised more fish shacks don't sell it.
