I hate broken vehicles

    The wife's '04 Kia was in the shop all last week. Codes were showing a rich bank 2 and a lean bank 1. Figured it was an O2 sensor but could tell which one. Shop replaced both of the pre-cat sensors and worked on a few other things. Also said it was way overdue for a timing belt, which it is, but I wasn't ready to hand over another $800 for that. Paid them $560 and drove it home about 2 blocks. Yesterday we decided to take it to the next town over to pick up a few things. Drove like crap, missing and bogging down same as before. Within 8 miles the same codes came back. He's not going to like the phone call I give him this morning. :censored:
