Joplin, Mo. ---Salvation Army

    Three major charities gathered funds to be used in Joplin after the F5 tornado.

    Catholic Relief Fund: $798k gathered; $798k spent on Joplin

    Red Cross: $3m gathered; $4m spent on Joplin

    Salvation Army: $4m gathered; $1m spent on Joplin; remaining $3m sitting in Salvation Army bank account

    Joplin is still being rebuilt and Salvation Army is no longer suppling funding.
