One more bout the BBC

For the life of me, IDK why so many continue to hang on this guy's message forum.

In this thread about climate change, he insults the majority of his site's users. Calls them fake experts and them mocks them for not believing everything they read in the media . Then, just so no one has a challenge to the jerks " 97% of experts " assertion, he closes the thread. He makes sure that no one tells him anything he doesn't want to hear.

The 97% of climate scientists originated from a Tweet by Obama, it became a political talking point, and debunked by many , here are just a couple ...

And the first retort to those debunking the 97% number, is to point out that they are from conservative political sources ..... which is true, but those using the 97% number in an attempt to end the climate debate, are also politically motivated.

Also, we've seen under Obama, that very few of these " scientists " were willing to buck the Obama administration, who was in control of large sums of research money dispensed by Federal agencies. If a research scientist wanted to keep his income from grants and contracts , he better toe the line and echo the political view of the Top Dog in the Whitehouse.

It went as far, as Obama's gal over DOJ, was threatening jail time for anyone professing a skeptical view of AGW.

Any skeptical scientist was also drummed out of Universities by peer pressure, such as Judith Curry who was pressured out of Georgia Tech because she did not go along with the group think.

What the BBC Big Cheese has done , is typical of those proponents of AGW, they will not tolerate any opposing viewpoint.

But the larger mystery, is why so many continue to live under the Big Cheese's boot ?
