The end of a long battle.

    Since 1998 I've been campaigning and lobbying to have my local lake changed from an Electric Power only lake to allowing low emission petrol outboards at a maximum speed of 6 knots. Yesterday I was invited to lunch with my local Members of Parliament, the Mayor and the State Premier, (equivalent of a State Governor) He then told me that they were opening the lake the low emission outboards on December 14th, with an overall 6 knot speed limit. He also thanked me for suggesting they put in some Composting Toilet blocks so people don't have to return to the ramp area to take a crap and they don't have to trespass on Leaseholders property if they can't make it back. It was a real buzz to finally have them put through everything I have been asking for.
