Water temp dropped 8 degrees over nite. North wind up to 30 mph and air temp in mid 40's. It was too much work to stay on the main channel so I went to the coves. The lake has been drawn down as low as "I can remember. Most of the brush in the coves is now visible. I fished the new rouges Oscar painted for me (chartruese/ purple glow). Didn't catch any bass on them today but they did catch four 13-15 in. crappie. Only had four bass bites all day. They came in the afternoon dragging a Zoom watermelon/red finesse worm that had a chartruese dyed tail. All came between docks in the front third of the coves in 18-20 ft.
I think the fishing will continue to get worse through the weekend as the water temp drops some more. I hope to be able to fish the main channel points tomorrow. :head_on_wall:
