Too much rain

    5 inches in a 35 minute period. The monsoon in Nam wasn't that heavy. I was wearing my good rain top from my fishing suit. The rain came through the zipper. I never had that happen before. We have had 8 inches of rain this week with the remenents of TS Bill due to arrive today. We have had flood warnings all week and the Missouri, Illinois, Meramec, Kaskaskia and Mississippi rivers are in flood. The ground is saturated with all rain running off. All flood gates on the Mississippi in St. Louis have been closed as has the waterfront.
