Way too much rain, now flooding

    We're a river town, and we've had an enormous amount of rain in the past 24 hours. Wife works at a nursing home along the river, about a mile below the dam, and just got called in. Looks like they need to evacuate the place. My son just called and said there are loose river barges up against the dam. Just got an automatic call from the local PD and they evacuating a large portion of the ares close to the river. Never seen flooding like this in this short amount of time. I'm on high ground, but this could get real bad quick.
