Woke up to storms

    bout 3:30 , and my mind takes a quick trip around the outside of the house, mentally checking that nothing is left out or in the rain and wind. But I never got back to sleep.

    My rain gauge says 3.56" of rain since then ......... and its still pouring.

    This is great for August , when everything is usually parched.
