.327 Magnum?

Anyone ever had any experience with one? I'd never head of this round till I was in a gas station outside of Ogallala and saw it on the cover of one of the gun magazines on a display. Sounds like a cool round! From what I read, it has similar ballistics of a .357 magnum with half the recoil, similar velocity, similar penetration as a .357 magnum, yet behaves like a 9mm. Also, for CCW type revolvers, it seems to hold an extra round. It seems like a newer round that fell out of popularity, but is now gaining momentum. Several makers are bringing it out in their lever action rifles as well. I'm not in the market for a new firearm, but this one kind of got me interested. DD, you like these hand cannons for plinkers. You should spend some of your poor man's money and buy one and give a performance review for us.
