All hail St Croix

I ordered a new rod for Harry and myself from St Croix and they arrived today. Just in time for a trip next week on the boat. Imagine my disappointment when having unpacked them I find they are not the rods which I ordered. Harry was fine until I told him they have to go back and the tears started. It was his 1st baitcasting rod which he was looking forward to using. A e-mail was sent and later today I got one back. It read..

I am sorry for the error. Please pass my apologies to your son. I am sending out the correct models and they should ship today. As to the other rods consider them an expansion of your fishing arsenal and an opportunity to broaden your fishing horizons. Once again sorry for the mistake.

Unbelievable service, especially as they are not cheap rods. We all make mistakes but the measure of a truly great company is how you handle them. The result for them is my son is now a customer for life, just like me. Well done St Croix :Cool_thumbs_up:
