Bad review of Academy

Can't you get this straight AC

I just went to academy and pulled up on my phone all the "sale clearance in store only" baits that were listed.

I grabbed like 3 after looking at about 30. Took them up to price check and of course none of them were on sale. I talked to the manager who had no clue about the website launch or the sale prices.

After we looked at the site together he started pulling the SKU numbers for the clearance items. Many didnt match up with the baits on the site.

They pulled the SKU for the Falcon Boxes and no one has had ANY in nationwide according to their system since mid 2010.

Not sure if I was getting played or if in fact this is true but they said that they were never told the site was active and that none of the stuff that isnt marked already applies...

He said he things they are using the site as a demo test and the SKU#s are inactive discontinues etc.

Seems like a bait and switch to me... Then again nothing ever rings up at the clearance price listed on the racks at my academy and its always a please let me take you back and show you type of deal.


All I really wanted was one or 2 of those falcon boxes for my lipless and spinnerbaits. That and a few redeyes oh and some excaliburs, oh and and and
