Brauer may retire

    I was told today that Denny is seriously thinking of retiring from tournament fishing. I wish you guys could hear him talk on how he approaches and breaks apart a dock. He does it the same way each time and is the best dock fisherman in the world. He is also one of those jig men who never touches his jig fter the original pitch unless he has to put the rod down or move the boat. He reels the jig in until he has about 15 inches of line out and gains momentum as he pendulums the jig. His hookset is only about 6-8 inches. Lots of power in that short of distance. All those back surguries took a lot out of him. I'll miss watching him fish at LOZ.
