China is in trouble

China has several problems occuring at the same time. I am hoping for a "perfect storm" of problems to make them change their ways.

1) a prolonged drought is causiing food and water shortages and may continue for a considerable time. The rural population was hurting BEFORE the drought and there are daily demonstrations against the gov't. The drought started in autumn of 2009. 51 million chinese were displaced by the drought in 2010.
2) the southern provinces have a large Muslim population who are watching the revolutions taking place.
3) the gov't is taking control of strategic resources that exist in the rural areas.
4) the gov't is blocking information access to the outside world by taking control of the internet and doing data mining of their own people.
5) the "black budget" for defense is taking a considerable portion of the GDP. The population is looking at all the new weapons and realizing that their lot is not improving.
6) a tremendous amount of corruption and malfeasance by those in power.

This could all come to a head with the summer heat. People without enough food and water can react quickly.
