    seing as we have the same boat here's a question for you.Yesterday I took my brother in law fishing. At the boat dock I couldn't start the motor. It sounded as if the battery was dead. I checked to make sure the trolling motor worked and it did. I checked the connections to the battery and they were fine. Kept trying to start it . Nothing, but if I waited a few minutes I could get an attempt by the motor to start and after about a dozen try's she fired up.Went for a good ride and came back close to the launch and fished just in case.2nd time I wanted to move it fired right up. 3rd time it took about 4 or 5 tries before it did.NOW, the question:doh:I was told to start it by pushing in the button on the throttle so that when it turned over you could give it some gas to keep it from stalling and let it warm up.Yesterday I got nothing that way and could only get anything from the vertical position without using the button. Charged the batteries when we got home. Trolling motor batteries charged and the starter was fully charged and didn't need it. Anything like that ever happen to you ?It's going into the shop mid week.
