Figured it out

I'm not a spring chicken anymore....:doh:

The GF's gift to her kids was a night stay at The Great Wolf Lodge (indoor water park included). So, me and the boy met them down there this morning. We start with one of the easy on your belly mat rides. Well, the boy decides to back out at the last minute, so I send him back down the steps and I jump on the mat (evidently wrongly). There was one simple turn to this chute and with my head being out in front of the mat, it ended up not being such an easy ride. So, I left that one with a stiff neck, that got stiffer as the day went on.

All the other rides were reached by climbing 3-4 flights of stairs. We rode them all several times :head_on_wall:

Then came the break where the kids could go play Magic Quest. Little did I know this game involved running up and down 4 flights of stairs retrieving clues. Even more of a surprise was the fact that I had to do it with him :doh:

After a couple hours of chasing those impossible clues, only to be called a Master Maji :shocked:, we headed back to the water park :cry3:. We rode a few more rides (stair climbing included), and then the kids found the wave pool. The GF and me relaxed in the chairs while the kids rode the waves :dancing_banana:.

But then everyone was rushed out of the pool, because someone drooped a doody in the pool. Yep, just like the scene in Caddy Shack. I asked one of the life guards if that has happened before. He said "about every two weeks, normally in the winter when the yankees come down."

I thought that would be a good time to leave, but I was outnumbered and it was back to the stair climbing water rides again......:cry3:

I finally lured the boy away with a promise of Hooters wings. So now I sit in the recliner, with swollen calfs, am upset stomach and I can't turn my head, but I think the kids had a good time.
