Finally, a gun for Doc...

    After picking up my CPAP machine, we strolled into Marks Outdoors in Bham to kill some time. Wanted to show Doc their recent expansion and all. She got to looking at all of the guns they have. Pistols, revolvers, rifles, yes even a Barret .338 Capua sniper rifle, Dude walked up to her and she asked what they have for her? She mentions a .380 with a slide she can work easily. The Kel Tech we have wasn't doing it for her. Looked at a Walther at BPS, but they have a funky magazine release mechanism.

    First thing he brings up is a Sig Sauer P238. Left over from the recent 2nd Amendment sale. Stainless steel slide, rubber tactical grips, laser, holster and 2 magazines for $499. She asked what was the price at my store for this? Told her, we just have the regular one for $479. She went ahead and told him to get out her first 4473 form and she was on her way. I think she got a great deal and I was damn proud of her for doing it too. Mainly on a impulse buy also. She was so happy, she got up this morning to go with her Mom to do some grocery shopping, she took it with her to show her Mom. That was cool!

    I don;t know hw to get the pic from my phone to here yet, but Curt has it also, if he can figure it out, maybe he can post it. Its a sweet little deal and I am very proud of her. She will have a lot of fun with this piece, I think.
