Good Day Fishin'.

Went to check out Randleman Lake. Got to lake at around 9:00am and fished till 4:30pm. I know there's a bunch that refuse to get on this lake, that's fine but I went and enjoyed it. It cost $15.00 launch fee, a long walk from the parking lot to the ramp, The parking lot was packed. They didn't even check for my little emergency jug. Just as I got to the lake office some guy brought up a nice chub 10# 7oz. I talked to several people coming in off the lake they all caught lots of fish but had only a few good ones. I did sweak out three fish from 2-3#. I believe I could have done better but I fished the end of the lake around the 421 bridge. Those I got were at the end of the day around 2-3 o'clock and up the river toward the Guilford county line. Thinking I might just go back tomorrow or Friday haven't decided. I bet Saturday and if they are open Sunday the parking lot will be packed along with everywjere else to park trucks & trailers. From what I had heard everyone talking a lot of fish are being caught and a bunch of good 3-5#ers are being caught. That is going to keep the lake busy for a while.
