Got Him

    Went to get the paper and another dang possum hissed at me from the scrubs. Took me about .5 hr. but I got him. The old trusty 6 iron didn't even get bent.
    Already took him to the woods for recycling. They are a real problem around here and are destroying both flower and vegetable gardens in search of moisture. This is the worst drought in St. Louis in my lifetime with high 90's to 100+ degrees forecast for the next 2 weeks. Even large oak and elm trees are turning brown and may die. A neighbor had several evergreens turn brown yesterday in the heat.
