Grill

  1. The beach house we stayed at this weekend had a Weber Performer grill. I've got to get me one of those. It's a charcoal grill with propane ignition. You add the charcoal, push a button, turn the gas off after ~5 minutes, wait for the coals to burn down and then you're ready to go.

    The first night was hamburger steaks, with slices of onion with butter on top
    The next night was med rare Ribeyes, corn in the husk w/ butter inside and more onion slices (pictured). The 600* charcoal seared the steaks perfectly.

    The last night the grill got vegetable duty with zucchini, squash and onions. We went to a fish market at the dock and picked up some tuna steaks. Rolled them in black pepper and pan seared rare. She made a white wine, soy, wasabi sauce for dipping. That was the best meal we had.
