He tripped over his tongue

My congressman, Todd Akin, is running against Claire McCaskill for her senate seat. He tripped over his tongue yesterday and made national news with his remarks about raped women. This guy is so stupid he didn't know my area was in his congressional district. He had a big lead but his stupidity has probably wiped away that lead. Ultra conservative, wants to do away with school lunches, medicare, all support for elderly care. Don't like McCaskill but this guy is so stupid there is no way I can vote fo him. By the way, he doesn't study issues. God tells him how to vote. He is running on the fact that he is a christian, home schools his children, and the rich people in his distrct support him.
