BEAVER — A Bridgewater man accused of driving a scooter drunk and leading police on a chase was found guilty Thursday on one charge and not guilty of another.

Police said Schweitzer ignored orders by a plainclothes Bridgewater police officer to stop and proceeded to his home. Schweitzer had a blood-alcohol level of 0.22 percent, police said.



The scooter the defense brought to court that Schweitzer said he was driving the night of the incident was a small, narrow, two-wheeled electric scooter with a seat.
