Hospital Rant #2

    We took my Grandmother to the Emergency room this evening (she's fine). While Droopy and me were in the waiting room a lady asked what time the Urgent Care closed. We debated for a while, then she said it wouldn't matter, since they wouldn't work out a payment plan anyhow. After talking awhile, she said her husband is on active duty and none of the local hospitals would take active duty insurance, even the VA.Another woman across the room said she had experienced the same thing when her husband was active. How is this possible? Can some of you military fellars explain what she was talking about?
