Intruder!

    I woke up to find an intruder in the house last night. My tomcat was howling like crazy and woke me up. I got my Kimber and went to confront the culprit. I was attacked AND injured by the biggest black and yellow bumblebee I have ever seen. I was ducking like crazy and watching the cat launch off the furniture trying to knock it out of the air. It's not like I could shoot it and was looking for something with which to swat it. Finally, I saw an old tennis racket and hit the bee with a forehand. I had to hit it out of the air several times before I could dispatch it. That sucker measured a little over 2 inches long. Now I'll have to look outside for a nest and hope I don't find one. It was 37 degrees outside last night and I suspect the bee wanted to find some heat.
