    They have started to reduce the GOV workforce. At most locations this is most likely needed however at my location we bid against a civilian contractor 12 years ago and in order to win the bidiing we reduced manning over 50%. Now the contract has expired and were are now considered regular GOV employees but have not increased our manning. Leadership refuses to understand that my org is a bare bone operation and made the choice to cut some of our positions. It's going to be a tough road for us to get the mission done to the level that is expected. The way I see it until they reduce every other org by 50% they shouldn't be taking any manning from my org. To top things off they never cut the right position or bother to ask management which position they should cut. This means we lose some of the best folks we have. :Mad:

    Based on this if I was hsb I wouldn't be relocating my family until this round of cuts is over.
