Just Plain Stupid Part II

    Doorbell rang this morning. Two Tea Party ladies were canvassing for new backers. We talked for a few minutes very pleasantly. One of them asked what I did for a living and I said I was retired from Federal Gov't. Boy, did that comment set them off. They started in on me like I was a husband who had cheated on them. I was told that people like me were the problem with the US, I didn't deserve my pension and benefits, etc.. They said everything but that I kicked my dog for enjoyment. I smiled and listened until they ran down. Still smiling, I said I hoped they had a better day and closed the door. If they had been men, I think things may have happened differently. I repect most of the people I have seen representing the Tea Party but they have to cut loose these losers. It's not like a real party yet with a real organization and formal leaders. Just plain stupid.
