Kids tournament 9/25

It looks like I beat Richard to the punch, as he is a big supporter of this tournament. He talked us into it last year and we had a ball. The tournament is for kids at a children's home in Thomasville. Most of the kids have not fished before, much less been on a boat. We drew the rowdiest kid in the place last year, but as soon as he stepped on the boat you couldn't have asked for a better kid. It was a true blessing to see these kids enjoy something we take for granted. Below is the email I received for this years event.

Dear Fellow Anglers,
First of all, I would like to thank you again for participating in last year's Mills Children's Home fishing tournament, known as the Benjamin Moye Classic. I would also like to ask you to please mark your calendars for this year's tournament which is September 25th. Please let me know as soon as possible whether you will be participating in this year's event. You can also let me know if there are any ways you think the tournament could be improved. Sportsmen for Christ will be meeting in the weeks to come and our aim is to do this tournament each year with excellence. There will be more meetings with the home this year to try to make things run a little smoother. Like last year, there will be a dinner at Green Street Baptist Church on Friday night. All events are free to the boaters and their wives as well as the chaperones. Please let me know if you know someone who would be interested in being a boater or a financial donor. You can email or call me with any questions you may have. Again, thank you so much. We could not do this without you. Most of these kids have never been on a boat, much less spend time with someone interested in wanting them to win at fishing as well as life.
