Lake Eufaula Trip

    Managed to get out yesterday for a while to Eufaula. Rained all day, the water was muddy from the middle to the north part of the lake. After a little time trying to figure out what the fish were doing, we managed to find a few. Ended up being the best trip I have ever had on Eufaula. The 5 best fish for me and my partner were probably pushing 28 lbs. Still don't know why we can't do this during a tournament. :thinking:

    This one was probably 5 - 5 1/2 lbs. Picture really does not do the fish justice though. Had several others in this size range. And several more in the 2 1/2 to 3 lb range.

    This one was 10 lbs spot on the scale. Biggest one I have ever caught on Eufaula.

    My partner caught the "small" fish and I hung the 10 lb while he was bringing her to the boat. We will probably never see another double like this one again in our lifetime. :doh:

    Water temps were 55 to 57.5 where we were fishing. The temps had actually fallen over the last few days, but needless to say the fish are beginning to move up and stage.
