Line and reel conditioners

    I've tried Blakemore's, KVD's, and WD40. All seem to work the same to me and one is a lot cheaper. The smell of WD40 doesn't seem to bother the bass. Remember that WD40 isn't a lubricant. It is a drying agent and cleaner. If you use WD40 to clean the worm gear of your reel, remember to re-oil the reel. I use a car product named Super Slick on my cranking reels. It gives you a LOT more casting distance. I'm not a guy who can cast through a spool on my baitcaster but I've come close right after applying it to my reel.
