About the Dysfunctional part. Here is another reason why it is that way....

Her seat was won by who?? Her own Minion! Her own little ass-kisser!! How the hell were the Repubs going to win this one?? With all due respect to miss Gabby, I think the Dems pulled off the heart strings to make sure that seat never left the Dems hands. So, when the race got close, they trot dear ol Gabby out there, with her hole in the head, sad little self telling folks in her own way not to let the Repubs steal "my" seat. How the hell were we going to win here?? There was no fairness here! There was no race to be won. It was crafted in stone as soon as "Gabby" woke up from her ordeal. She should have resigned the day the prognosis came out about her condition, but NO!! we had to wait for a miracle or just hold up Congress until she either gets better or we replace her. Why the hell did it take a year to do so?? So, they could FIND a suitable replacement, thats why. You want dysfunctional government, here you have it. :head_on_wall:
