    WHEN YOU THINK of fast boats and boat racing, you think of guys racing around the lake on their piece of plywood boats, with a couple of engines on the back going zoom, zoom, zoom.

    But now, there is a new top dog out there, and it's Ken Gouty of Antioch, who holds the world record for a speeding pontoon boat after he hit 100 mph at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout last week.

    Ken Gouty of Antioch got this pontoon boat up to 100 mph during a recent competition.

    Yes, read it again, I had to. A pontoon going 100 mph. Wow!

    He did it three times on a one-mile drag race with a 27-foot PlayCraft powered by a 1,200 horsepower, supercharged engine built by Skunkworks Performance Marine.
