Missouri minimum wage law

    A state senator is proposing doing away with the state's miminum wage law and appears to have the backing of the legislature. The law passed Missouri voters 2 yrs. ago with 78% approval. The senator says doing away with the law would attract companies to the state. He says the voters don't know what they are doing and the law should be repealed.

    This would be the second time the new legislature would repeal a law passed by the voters because the legislature thinks the voters don't know what they are doing.
    1) Yes it MAY make more jobs--at less than minimum wage--just what is needed.
    2) Will companies really come to Missouri----who knows--maybe the Chinese will.
    3) Will companies now paying minimum wage still want to pay that to employees or lower their pay?
    4) Why is the will of the people being disregarded AGAIN!
    5) Why would people want to re-elect these supposed conservatives if they disregard the people. This is stupidity- not conservatism.
