Mumia, convicted cop killer, gets commuted sentence

The hero to the left has had his death sentence commuted to life in prison. I can't understand WTH people look up to someone like this. Just another example of how messed up society is. If I'm called racist for wishing the mother f^%$@er to pay for his hideous crime, so be it.

Convicted cop-killed Mumia Abu Jamal received a commutation of his sentence to life in prison instead of the death penalty this week just days before a massive December 9th rally planned to celebrate his 30th year of incarceration and call for his release.

The event is scheduled to take place in the National Constitution Center– the only museum in the United States exclusively devoted to the Constitution.

Author Michelle Alexander appears in a promotional video for the Mumia’s 30th Anniversary event. In that clip (below), she ties the convicted cop-killer’s plight to that of all incarcerated people, stating that:

“The struggle for justice in Mumia’s case is part of a larger movement to end mass incarceration and the demonization of poor people of color and all those who are willing to stand with them in their fight for social and racial justice.”
