My Niece the "Bassmaster"

    Here's something to please an old uncle's heart. Also make him jealous.

    She caught 6 of these at Guntersville last week on wacky worms. Her dad caught 5 that day (they live in Huntsville).

    Her Uncle Varmint didn't catch a dang thing 'cause he was at home in Knoxville looking at what was left of his roof and gutters and windows after that 50cal. hailstorm/tornado.

    She just started fishing this past winter. She asked me what to use, and I told her she couldn't go wrong with a $2 lipless crank bait (Cotton Cordell) from Walmart. So she bought one, threw it in a nearby pond, and right away pulled out a 2 1/2 lb largemouth. Sent me that photo too, but can't find it right now.

    Ft. Loudon's looking kinda sickly after seeing this picture...
