My Rules in a Bad Situation

Gleaned from training classes, tactical practice, and other times.

1) Be quick to draw but never rush the shot.
2) The first shot is your best shot so make it count.
3) If more than 3 opponents, only 2 shots per opponent.
4) Always change mags with one round left in the mag. You don't want to squeeze off a second shot and it doesn't go BANG.
5) Always count your shots so you know when to change mags.
6) If you're hit, keep firing until you no longer can fire.
7) Make sure you cover your partner--he goes forward so do you.
8) Never, ever, give up. The one with the most guts usually wins the day.

And the biggie: tell yourself every day that you should have been dead long ago. Every new day is just a gift which can be taken away.
