Newest food trial

So as Ive posted before we have been trying some new recipes, cuisines, etc. So last night decided to try some jerk chicken. Now working part time at a grocery store and having a large Jamacian population around here, get a lot of requests for Grace Jamacian products.

So I was at the store and picked up a jar of the Hot Jerk marinade. Let me say, its not pretty, doesnt smell great coming out of the jar, but after marinading it for a few hours and grilling it, it is some kinda good. Get a mix of the jerk taste and the charred bits from the grill, mmmmm.

Now I will say I like me some spicy food and this ranks right up there with some good heat. Next time, maybe for the kids' sake, Ill get the mild Jerk marinade.

So if you are a lil adventerous and wanna give a try, take a look at your local store and see if they carry it.
