OIl to Natural Gas

    Any of you fools switched from oil heat/hot water to natural gas as of late? Mrs hsb and I have been talking about it for a while and I can look at all the numbers the gas co's publish about savings, but Id like to see some real world numbers as opposed to the co's numbers. I think we are at approx. 3.95 a gal on oil right now. Of course there is the expense of the new boiler, etc but if the total savings outweighs the cost of oil, even in the long run, would have to seriously consider it. Also got something in the mail yesterday from a local gas co, if we sign up now, the gas line from street to house is free.
