Poodles

    Since Joey was showing off his pup, I thought I would bring this up. My grandparents raised championship standard poodles. In the 1960's-1970's, they were getting up to $1500 per pup. Poodles were developed by the French as hunting dogs and if trained properly, they are some of the best hunting dogs around. That is what my grandad did. He raised champion hunting Poodles. They are fearless and will take on a wolf if necessary. It is hard for another dog or wolf to bite through their thick fur. Two dogs are usually trained to work together on a hunt. They also have a very powerful bite much like a wolf's bite. People don't see them as hunting dogs because most champion dogs are trained for show.
