Potential pb smallie today

    Had a few minutes of free time today, so took a ride down to the river, still high and stained from all the rain we've had lately. Armed with a black/blue <nobr>jig</nobr> and trailer and a small scrounger head and an assortment of super flukes and swimming senkos.

    Wind was ripping right at me down the river from around one of the bends, making parallel casts to the <nobr>rock wall</nobr> with the scrounger and swimming Senko and <nobr>Fluke</nobr> I pick up a couple small smallies as well as with swimming the jig. Couldnt get bit hopping the jig. Ended up breaking the hook off the scrounger, so heading back to the car, making random casts with the jig, swimming it back, pick up one or two more smaller smallies and finally the last fish of the day loads up on the jig.

    Took a quick pict of him and off he went, back to swim another day. Now that beat ass shoe is approximately 13" long, figure there is another 3-4" of fish to measure, so a good 16-17" smallie.
