Pulling out of Iraq.

    What yall think about this? I do think it is time for us to get out of there. Combat Ops have basically ceased and it looks pretty peaceful there now. Is it time? Do the Iraqis fend for themselves now? I know the big wigs are wondering about the Iranian influence and all and that is a concern, I reckon, but I just don't feel its right to keep anyone or anything there anymore. I mean, we have bases and implements around the area to use as a formidable response mode. We have the Naval Base at Naples in Italy, Rammstein in Germany, the Rapid Deployment base in Cyprus, we have Israel there for help, plus South Korea and other outlaying bases. We can be anywhere in the world in a matter of hours or days. Do we really need to keep any soldiers there?? We have done our job, killed a chitload of terrorists. There are some azzholes still remaining there but they are not powerful by any means. Need some enlightenment from you guys that have this experience. You agree with this pullout? 10 years is a long time. Lets bring our boys and girls home.
