Question about boat insurance.

After seeing the pics of that smashed up Bass Cat, it got me to thinking. If you're towing your boat and it falls off the trailer or there is a collision, is that covered under your vehicle's insurance or the boat's insurance? I have State Farm for everything I have insured, so it wouldn't really matter, but I am curious. If your boat just falls off the trailer while your driving, is that covered? I should have asked these questions when I bought the policy.
