Sad VA story

I was at the therapy center working out this afternoon. I work between what looks like parallel bars so I don't fall. A 45-50 yr. old man was in the bar set next to me working with a therapist. He could stand on his own but was in intense pain. The therapist said he recently had a back operation at the VA hospital. He raised his shirt and I looked at his scar. Guys, I've had two back operations in the same area with a scar a quarter that size. Not only was it large, it was a complete butcher's job. I've never seen a scar that poorly matching and overlapping. I would guess the surgury was done as poorly as the scar was closed and sewn. No warfighter deserves care that bad. He was injured in Afganistan but the back didn't go bad until after his discharge.
