Shaking my head

    I visit a couple of fishing sites but only post here and one other. On that site I never visit the lounge. I just look at fishing and boating topics. What I've noticed there is when a fishing question is posed, a lot of unknowledgable people give their views on the topic. Few really knowledgable folks will answer the questions. I wonder why that is? If I were a newbie angler, I would rather hear from good anglers than bad advise from people who haven't a clue. I've answered some questions but sometimes leave the site shaking my head. I guess we get few fishing questions on this site because the folks ARE knowledgable. I have seen many tournament guys list their weights and finishes on here. I wonder if we are scaring off the non tourney people from the site. Look at all the visitors we get but few join. Maybe some of you tournament people could start posting on how to be a better angler. Folks seeking to get better may want to learn your knowledge.
