Sigh..................I love hockey, but I have ZERO love for the NHL right now

    All November regular season games cancelled Friday, and no end in sight for the lockout. Both sides are not budging, and the fans are the ones getting screwed in this ongoing fiasco. I almost gave up on them after the last stoppage, but slowly got back into it due to the Blackhawks being returned to local TV and increased advertising. This time might be the straw that breaks the camel's back, though. It is hard enough for the sport to compete here in the US, and that is where the NHL needs to succeed in order to promote and grow the league, but all the good work that they have done since the last stoppage has gone out the window. As a fan, it's exasperating to lose a season again so soon after the last one, and this time will likely end the same with the entire season gone.:doh:

    I hope that they manage to salvage some of the season, but one thing remains, and I speak for a lot of fans I know around here - it certainly won't be the same, and perhaps it's time to find another league to pay attention to.
