Skiffs

    Any experience with shallow draft skiffs? I'm interested in a Carolina Skiff JVX (side console) for my boat lift on the Hampton River (salt water). I need the absolute shallowest draft as possible as I don't have much water at low tide.

    I plan on using the boat to take the wife to restaurants on the water, fishing the bridge tunnels (when it's calm in the bay), and whale watching. I'm just a few minutes by water from the area that Jet Ski Brian takes the majority of his pictures.
