Something good happened today

A friend who I had been estranged from since retirement showed up a my door today. He had gotten mad that I hadn't told him the truth about my work. I did it to protect myself and also his family. What you don't know can't hurt you theory. The talk we had was as if nothing had happened and that was fine with me. He said he would come back next week for a visit. I was very glad to see him and it made my day much brighter. Friends shouldn't have these squabbles but I didn't know how to repair the friendship. He was once my fishing partner and I'm glad he is back. I hope you folks have something good happen to you this weekend.
