Last weekend my son shot what I thought was a freak of nature. When I first saw this deer I noticed it was covered with white spots. I first thought it was a yearling doe that for some reason never lost its spots, I knew it was way to big to be a fawn. We loaded it the truck and headed home to hang it. That's when I got a really good look at it and started thinking to myself this is not even a whitetail deer. My wife got on the net and found out he had shot a Chital deer that comes from India. I have no idea how this deer got to Missouri It must have escaped from a game ranch somehow.
