    Piddlin's pics of his smoker chow the other day inspired me to drag out my old smoker. Haven't used it in about 2 years. Local grocer had Boston Butts on sale, so I thought I'd make some Lexington style BBQ. Those of you who live outside of NC, probably have never had the privilege of tasting real BBQ. I've had BBQ from Memphis, Kansas City,St. Louis ( ribs), Texas and Georgia? ( I'm funnin' with you guys, but I still think I'm right). Having grown up in Lexington and worked as a teenager in one of the local joints, I know how they cook that stuff. I've cooked it before on my smoker, and it was good, but this batch today, was in all honesty, the best Q I've ever eaten. My wife said the same thing ( She's from Lex as well). Okay, I'm done braggin', but here's a pic so's I can compete with Chris a little.
