The Pressure Mounts

Obama has ordered 2 more carriers into the Arabian Sea for a total of three carriers. This is enough to take out Iran's infrastructure. The main Ayotollahs have told the people they would not back down to US power. More pressure on the ruling heirarchy and more to fuel the people's unrest. This is a lesson in strategic thinking and only the US has this capability. I know that many do not approve of Obama as president but this is a bold and correct move.

A history lesson from the Clinton era. China was preparing to cross the Formosa Straits and invade Taiwan. Clinton sent seven, yes seven, carriers into the straits and dared them to cross. The Chinese backed down and haven't threatened Taiwan. At the time the carriers were gathered in the straits, it was the largest gathering of carriers since WWII and the largest fleet gathering since WWII.
